It's that time of year again...Fall is upon us and it's time to think about preparing for what is predicted to be a very harsh season. In the rush, please don't forget your HydroPulse heating system. The HydroPulse provides you with the most efficient heating system available, but, as with all hi-tech, high-efficiency equipment, it requires preventive maintenance.


We at SJG Heating Service are factory trained experts in the installation and service of HydroTherm HydroPulse boilers. We offer pre-season preventive maintenance check-ups and tune-ups as well as emergency service. SJG maintains a full inventory of all HydroPulse service parts so that your unit will provide uninterrupted service throughout the upcoming cold season.

Please don't be confused or misled by less experienced contractors who are unfamiliar with HydroPulse boilers. The staff at SJG have been installing and servicing HydroPulse boilers for 23 years. We know the HydroPulse can always be repaired (except heat chamber leaks), and with proper maintenance will provide you with decades of efficient heating.

  • Lubricate circulator
  • Check air charge in expansion tank
  • Inspect boiler venting
  • Inspect condensate drain
  • Test fuel/fan/combustion pressures
  • Check all controls
  • Inspect spark plug
  • Check all safety controls
  • Inspect diaphragm discs
  • Check for leaks - water/gas
  • Inspect all zone valves and thermostats
  • Inspect pressure reducing valve
